Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, company name, and password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
Content data. We process content from sources you configure (RSS feeds, YouTube channels, websites) to generate drafts on your behalf. Generated drafts, relevance scores, and pipeline run metadata are stored in your account.
Usage data. We collect basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) to operate and improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve PostGenie
- To authenticate your identity and secure your account
- To process content through our pipeline on your behalf
- To send service-related communications (e.g., security alerts)
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate PostGenie:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — infrastructure, data storage, and AI/ML services
- Google OAuth — optional sign-in provider
- Buffer — optional social media publishing (only when you connect your Buffer account)
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on AWS infrastructure in the United States. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and follow industry-standard practices to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
6. Cookies
We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
